Diagnodent

The Diagnodent is a powerful new laser used for early detection and diagnosis of tooth decay. The Diagnodent also makes it easier to find decay that may be hidden in the cracks and crevices of teeth. Earlier detection means less damage, pain, and hassle for you down the road.

Intra-oral Camera

During your comprehensive exam, we may use a tiny, pen-sized intraoral camera to create for you a live, magnified, full-color video image of your teeth and oral issues. With this heightened visualization of your dental condition, you are empowered to become a true partner in your care. Your exam becomes an interactive learning and sharing experience.

Lumineers

Ultra-thin porcelain veneers can correct broken, weakened, or discolored teeth. No more yellow. No more gaps or embarrassing chips. And veneers can return real structural integrity to damaged teeth, while leaving them looking as good (or possibly better) than the originals.

Sapphire Teeth Whitening System

If you have noticed that your teeth are becoming dull or stained, tooth whitening can restore them to a dazzling, bright, white again. Over time our teeth may become stained from foods, beverages and smoking. Also, as we age it is natural for our teeth to become duller. Whitening your teeth can improve your appearance and give you a younger looking smile. The Sapphire Whitening System uses professional grade teeth whitening gel and a powerful light to quickly and safely whiten your teeth.

For your convenience we offer both Sapphire in office or take home whitening systems.

Radio Surgery

This technology uses radio waves to change gum tissue coverage or re-contour unhealthy, short gum lines. Gum tissue helps protect teeth, but excessive gum tissue can be removed without reducing this protection. Gum tissue contouring is especially helpful to accident patients who have damaged gums. Show more of your pearly whites and increase the confidence of your smile.

Radio surgery is similar to laser surgery without the high-intensity heat that’s generated from some lasers. Radio surgery eliminates the discomfort of the scalpel with no bleeding and is efficient at producing results without tissue inflammation. It’s used for esthetic gum contouring and during general surgery procedures. We want to create a no-worries dental experience.

Soft Tissue Laser

Dental lasers are a safe and effective way to treat a variety of dental problems. Particularly in the area of gum disease treatment, lasers have been shown to be an amazingly easy and effective tool to eliminate the need for conventional gum surgery.
Laser Bacterial Decontamination
In addition, when performing many of the procedures the laser also kills bacteria in the mouth. Laser treatment also results in less bleeding, post-op pain, discomfort and less trauma. Lasers also promote healing which minimizes any discomfort usually associated with surgical dental procedures.

Cavitron

The Cavitron ultrasonic cleaner is a state of the art instrument that has proved to be an extremely successful tool in removing tartar from both above and below the gum line for a thorough cleaning. Instead of scaling your teeth with bulky metal hand scalers the cavitron ultrasonic cleaner uses oscillating sound waves to gently vibrate the tartar away from your teeth. The Cavitron unit is so gentle that it can even be used to administer deep cleaning and gum therapy, many times without the need for anesthetic. Having your teeth cleaned with the Cavitron unit is a safe effective and painless alternative to traditional cleaning methods. The Cavitron vibrates at the speed of sound so quickly that you can hardly feel any movement. This ultrasonic method is a more pleasant alternative.

Transillumination

Transillumination is the process of using a concentrated beam of bright light to detect any problems with the teeth. The intense light can reveal cavities located between teeth or under restorations. It is also able to detect cracks in your teeth that are not visible to the naked eye. Transillumination allows us to diagnosis and treat issues when they are small, before they begin to cause pain or significant tooth structure damage.

Panorex CMT Tomographic

The Panorex CMT is a state-of-the-art panoramic and tomographic imaging system. The CMT provides us with cross-sectional views of a patient’s mouth, face and jaw. These images allow for more accurate diagnosis and treatment planning for a variety of procedures including implants, extractions and TMJ.

Electric Hand Piece

The first thing patients notice about the electric hand piece is how quiet it is – no more loud, unbearable whining filling the room. The electric hand piece also operates very smoothly reducing vibration greatly for a more comfortable procedure.
